"The salvation of the just comes from the the Lord." Psalms 39-40

Our first week of school has concluded and a busy one it was. I want to take this time to welcome all of our new parents and students. By now you may have received word how the school year has begun and I hope you feel that the school year has begun well for your child.

It was evident to me that classes began smoothly, and this first week, although very hot, was a fine beginning of what I anticipate to be a very productive year for all.

The kindergarten and first grade students adjusted easily to their new surroundings and are an angelic presence in the school. The second graders enjoy having grown up from being the youngest in the building, to not the youngest, and our eighth graders have been outstanding role models for the rest of the school during this first week of school.

Our new Music, Art, Grade 1 and Prek-3 teachers have all adjusted as well. Rest assured that you have an outstanding faculty that is going to challenge each and every student to his or her utmost potential.

Next Friday, from 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm we will celebrate a Family Night Ice Cream Social in the gym. Hope you can make it. Our annual "Back to School Night: will take place on Thursday, September 20. Musical Adventures will meet with parents at 6:30 pm.

Picture Day is scheduled for Friday, September 21.

As the year begins if you have any concerns about any aspect of your child's schooling, feel free to contact the teacher, or me. We welcome your inquiries.

God bless and have a wonderful weekend.
