"There is an appointed time for everything, and a time for every thing under the heavens." Ecclesiates 3:1
The month of September is complete and in the books. I enjoyed meeting all of you at Back to School Night. I know there was a lot of information to digest, but if you have any questions, please feel free to call the school.
Tomorrow, Saturday, September 29 the HSA is sponsoring a Family Day Chili Cook Off. It will begin at 11:00 am and take place in the St. Therese School Parking Lot and conclude at 3:00 pm. There will be fun and games and it will be a great opportunity to socialize with the St. Therese Family. Hope you can make it.
Monday is October 1, and we begin the Month of the Rosary in honor of our Blessed Mother. We will be reciting a decade of the rosary before class every morning completing all of the mysteries of the rosary by the end of the month. The rosary is a very powerful prayer and I encourage you to say it at home, in church, in your car or wherever you can find some quiet time. It is a weapon against the evil that exists in these times.
Next Thursday is National Bring Your Bible To School Day. All students are asked to bring their bibles to school and have them blessed by Fr. Miguel.
Also be advised that next week Friday, October 5, school will be closed for a Professional Development Day for our teachers. School will also be closed on Monday October 9 for Columbus Day.
