Tonight is the St. Therese Annual Tricky Tray. I would like to take this opportunity thank all of the faculty, parents and HSA members who have given so much of their time and donated baskets to make the Tricky Tray a success. Please know that your sacrificed time does not go unnoticed.
This week we concluded the month of the Rosary by reciting the last decade of the Joyful Mysteries on Wednesday, October 31. Wednesday afternoon was capped off by our annual Halloween Parade. I don't know who had more fun dressing up, the faculty or the students. A lot of fun was had by all.
All students attended mass on Thursday, November 1, "All Saints Day," and on Friday, November 2, "All Soul's Day."
Next week in honor of "Law Enforcement Week," Mr. Popowicz will be landing a helicopter in the school parking lot. Students will get to board the helicopter while it is on the ground and Mr. Popowicz will speak to the students about how and why the helicopter is used in his role working for the DEA.
It is hard to believe , but today is the end of the First Marking Period. Report cards, First Honors and Second Honors will be distributed on Thursday, November 8. School is closed on Friday, November 9 in honor of Veteran's Day. The NJEA Teacher's Convention is also taking place in Atlantic City, NJ.
The Eighth Grade HSPT/COOP Test date will take place on Thursday, November 8th, not Monday, November 12.
Please make a note that the day and date of our Annual Christmas Concert has been changed from Friday, December 14 to Thursday, December 20 at 7:00 pm. That being said we still have 20 families that have not paid or returned 50/50 raffle stubs. Please do so as soon as you can so we can include you in the raffle.
I hope we have plenty of winners at tonight's Tricky Tray and I hope everyone has Blessed Weekend.
